Electoral roll reform has left some people unable to get a mortgage because their
credit file is not up-to-date.Credit reference agency Equifax says that during
the 18-month review in 2001 some councils stopped supplying electoral roll information
to credit reference agencies. So some people's credit files indicate they are

House prices rose by 1.5% last month and the property market continues to be "strong",
